Jamie co-wrote and co-produced her own material on Celebrity Music; and recently recorded a duet with ‘LIL WAYNE on her I Am Not Your Angel single.
A 21-year-old multi-racial artist, Jamie Jones has quickly created her “I’m a MUTT” movement with her song “Whatever” -- an insightful autobiographical tune that states: “Is she black? Is she white? Whatever! Can she sing? Can she dance? Whatever! ” Teased as a child for her unknown ethnic background, “Whatever” truly finds its relevance in today’s social climate. Jamie has already performed the song live on BET’s “106 & Park” and has been awarded best female singer on the network’s 2008 “Wild Out Wednesday” competition. She’s also been featured on Allhiphop.com and in Black Beat magazine as an emerging artist to watch and has opened for such noted acts as Erykah Badu, Juelz Santana, Avant, Trey Songz and 112, to name a few.
